Profile: The vines are 45 years old, are located in the hills of municipality of Villa del Bosco, Brusnengo and Lessona in Alto Piemonte. Hilly area with south-east and south-west exposition at 270 to 350 meters above sea level in guyot planting. The soil has typical Ph acidity with kaolin clay soils. Harvest begins at the first week of October. First production of this wine was in 1980. Total production of this nebbiolo: 8000 bottles annually
Aging: after pressing and destemming, the wine goes into inox vats for a 20-day alcoholic fermentation. Then the wine goes for 6 months in French oak barrels for the barrique and Slavonian oak for the large barrels with medium toasting (50 hectoliters and barrique alternated).
Nose: The nose shows hints of spice and red fruit, with a nice mineral appeal.
Mouth: The sip is fresh and pleasant, with a hint of tannins. Harmonious finish with fruity notes
