Paolo Scavino
Paolo Scavino started producing wine in 1921 in Castiglione Faletto. Today, Enrico Scavino continues to work with the passion of his ancestors together with his daughters Enrica and Elisa, the fourth generation. When he was 10 years old, Enrico Scavino’s passion for winemaking was born in a wine cellar and at that moment he knew that each of his vineyards would express a certain degree of a unique character and that his wine would ferment and age separately.
Paolo Scavino owns 23 ha in the Barolo region of which 19 historic Barolo Cru’s are located in Castiglione Falletto, Barolo, La Morra, Serralunga d’Alba, Verduno and Roddi.
The family stands out in many aspects in comparison to the other wineries, but especially in their passion to contribute to the growth of healthy grapes in the vineyard and their focus on enology in the purest sense of the word.
