Giribaldi
Azienda Agricola Mario Giribaldi, originating from Rodello, was founded at the beginning of the 20th century. The third generation is now in charge and besides the US market (80% of exports) the family is also active in many European countries, and after ten years of absence its business is back in Belgium. Depending on the type of wine their vineyards are located in Diano d’Alba, Montelupo Albese La Morra, Guarene, Alba, Novello where the vines were chosen for climatic reasons and where the wine reaches an even higher quality.
The most important mission for the Giribaldi family is the production of an incredibly high quality wine and the preservation of the traditional values combined with the necessary innovations. The outstanding wine quality can be attributed to a number of factors, such as choosing the perfect clones, paying special attention to the organic farming and working the substrate with techniques that improve the condition of the vineyard. Today consumers prefer to lead a healthy lifestyle and are naturally looking for an organically produced wine.
Modesty is another asset of the Giribaldi family. Even though they have received numerous recognitions from i.e. Wine Spectator, Decanter and James Suckling they do not mention a word about it, but we still like to share this information with you.
