Covid-19 and the new rules of our online shop our wine producers from Piedmont

How do we protect you as online webshop?
Corona Virus takes care of a complete reorganization of our personal and business life.
Just because we receive many questions, we will now clearly tell in one newsletter what we realized and now continue to do to prevent any type of possible infection.
Numero Uno: all trips to Italy were cancelled after 23 February already, no more visits to winegrowers until both in Belgium and Italy the Corona Virus is no longer on the agenda;
Numero Due: our "Spring and Summer Wines Tournée" in all major cities of Flanders was cancelled and taken offline.
Numero Tre: we have more than enough stock in our brand new storage rooms in Méan with the pallets that were delivered before the Corona crisis broke out. Our offices remain in Antwerp but shipments are made from Méan (Wallonia).
Numero Quattro: Our shipments are made in containers of 6 bottles, or adapted to the order (see photo). As a precaution, the bottles are only touched with protective gloves, if necessary by touching them.
The bottles are placed in these containers as soon as the wine producer has delivered them, as a standard rule before the Corona fuss, so only if less than 6 bottles are ordered we have to select the bottles. It is clear that this measure will only be successful if the supplier works under the same conditions, which is also the case. So at every stage from producer to dispatch, we pay close attention to what is part of our customer's concern.
Numero cinque : "Stay in your room" does not equal living water and bread. This may be the right time to try wines from our range, especially the 10% discount wines.
You Tube and our videos are apparently incompatible: it will only go online tomorrow. At the bottom of this newsletter you'll find a list of the wines that give you a 10% discount. After that, a new series of winegrowers will follow, which we will put in the spotlight so that everyone within our range will get enough attention. All of our producers are pulling the same cloth.

PS: The picture at the bottom was taken of an empty container as an example as these containers, provided with extra tape, will be sent again in reinforcing boxes. Also breakage is rare...
